Heard everything and have to say only a few tracks really fit with my taste.
The one that PurpleOcean posted and of course "Stop Time" by U-recken, posted from Augustus.

I like it to have a very "deep bassline". Or if it doesn't, the track should be very rich with different elements that are keeping the tune interesting through the ride...

I am still very new to that sub-genre but will make a big selection of what I consider to be the best of the genre.

A great example of a "deep psy/goa bassline" is this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIF3y4xpdek

This tune is my first psy/goa tune ever and I was totaly amazed when heard it for the first.

I'm gonna check everything tomorrow and tell ya.

I'm glad about the interest for psy!

Maybe we could make a remix project of a psy tune! Now that would be a CHALLENGE! : )

Thank you for your detailed post.
Infact, I have to say you are very right about some things.
But still I see psy as a genre with a lot more freedom than normal trance.

I am really starting to love deeply this genre.
I see it as a completely free dimension of music expressivity.
It doesn't have rules, the only rule is the absolute freedom for your imagination.

Have just uploaded this tune at my channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUyyo6UPySg

What do you think about the track and about psy/goa in general?

I feel this music is going to become in my top 2 favorite trance genres. The future should be in psy imo...

QUOTE (frifоx @ Aug 9 2010, 11:34 PM) *
literally, Adagio means "a composition played in adagio tempo (slowly and gracefully)", a common term. also, Adagio for strings, Adagio for organs, Adagio for phat synths, Adagio for vuvuzelas.... seeing the pattern?

but yeah, all credit has to go to the original:
Tomaso Giovanni Albinoni - Adagio (for strings, in G minor)

Yeah, I know that. But didn't think you were refering to the tempo "adagio", infact LLT thought what you posted was actually an "original" work and not a remix of "adagio for strings".

But maybe I misunderstood, in that case I apologise.

This is "adagio", not "adagio for strings".

Adagio was originally made by Tomaso Giovanni Albinoni: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=spBOZa87xIY (listen from 0:44 the chord progression)

the other is the "adagio for strings" by Samuel Barber (that was remixed by tiesto)

Can't really see what is so special about this track? Apart that is sounding like Tuvan/Aisha...
Nothing innovative or fresh on the scene.

But who knows maybe I have to hear it again to appreciate it...

Weird. Never experienced such problem.
I'd suggest you to uninstal it and download the vegas pro 8.
Is for sure better.

What do you mean by "crashing"? Does it stops on rendering the video? Or it becomes extremly slow?

I like house very much.

Deep house, tech house, progressive and light are my favorites.
But won't post none of them cause I know no one from here would like (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
