ran into a pretty fundamental brick-wall here.... cli doesnt support UTF8, aka non-english letters such as トランス, Tiësto, Marcus Schössow, and similar characters. i guess i'll jump into Perl and see if that would give me tools to implement Unicode support.

Now, this is HD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMlI1Qi20kA

Also I dedicate this track to frifox! Hope you like it m8!

You know? This track reminds me of Above and Beyond's Respray of Adam Nickey's "Never Gone".

Still remember when you uploaded that full HD version on your previous account. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

This is only for still images??

I've been using the VMUtube-HD for encoding/compressing upconverted motion videos for a while, and I've been pretty satisfied with it. I've even recently encoding upconverted 1080p (not resizing to 720p) with excellent results. Hoping you'd keep that or update it or something (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif) .

i actually removed VMuTube since an already existing MeGUI does the job and is way more flexible + encodes videos equally good, if not better... VMuTube was based on MeGUI after all (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

was working on my x264 video encoder and... FINALLY i got the script to recognize input filenames with non-english characters. had to to push cli & php past their limits, but it was worth it - it works 100%.

what does this mean? i'm updating IMuTube and bringing back VMuTube, all into one fully automatic script, uTube.bat (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

(IMG:http://www.cute-factor.com/images/smilies/onion/189bbdde.gif) (IMG:http://www.cute-factor.com/images/smilies/onion/th_099_.gif) <--- cli/php vs. frifox

its been a long day, now its time for some (IMG:http://www.cute-factor.com/images/smilies/onion/th_095_.gif) ... expect something interesting in few days (hopefully) (IMG:http://www.cute-factor.com/images/smilies/onion/044.gif)

it's all more or less done... just gotta check for compatibility with older systems like WinXP/FAT32... i used some Win7/NTFS specific features to tackle the non-english filenames problem but not everyone will run the script on Win7/NTFS so i gotta add a check that validates what you're running the script on and then downgrade to a compatible methods while sacrificing the feature. either way, it will be a one helluva smart script - it'll do ALL the thinking for you. welcome to the 2010 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

dam, Win7 (and maybe Vista) support non-english filenames but WinXP doesn't want to support them no matter what. i added a patch that will advice you to rename the filename when using WinXP, and if you run Win7/Vista - it'll continue working as if nothing happened (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

anyways, just patching up few glitches and hopefully it'll be all done pretty soon.

btw, finally decided to code the dam thing using C#, which is what i should've used but didnt, and already made a mock up GUI:
