So my sony vegas 9.0 platinum ( from the link you gave me Fri ), keeps crashing while trying to rendering a 18 minutes video . It goes half the way then crashes ... Any one knows why ? Cause it didn't happen before ... Also it's having a problem recognizing mp4 videos , after i select the file it says an exception as ocured ...

What do you mean by "crashing"? Does it stops on rendering the video? Or it becomes extremly slow?

Weird. Never experienced such problem.
I'd suggest you to uninstal it and download the vegas pro 8.
Is for sure better.

just made another video in wmw 720p and it worked fine , tried again to render the 18 minute video and failed again ... I really don't get it ... Maybe it's because the song i used in the video is a mix in wma format ?

i believe i was also experiencing similar problems a while back, rendering to a different format fixed it... try changing that and see if that fixes it. if it does - now you'll know what to tinker with (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
