i'll be posting news and related stuff about my script in this thread.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FILES/VIDEOS:

Video tutorial (made with v1.0):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7C7rqWQtdc

Latest scripts - v1.0, download link:
http://code.google.com/p/imutube/

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

INFO:

Select both audio and video files and them Drag/Drop both into the script at the same time.
Input files can be JPG/PNG/BMP for video and MP3/AAC for audio.
Input files can be named anything you wish, and they can be anywhere on the harddrive. heck i even drag&dropped img+pic from host os to vmware client os and it worked, lol

in the archive you'll find a few scripts specialized for uploading content to youtube:
IMuTube-HD > make picture+audio type videos for youtube that will have "HD" button (old script, use as a back-up only)
IMuTube-MicroHD > use this script for HD picture+audio type uploads... i do (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
IMuTube-HQ > make picture+audio type videos for youtube that will have "HQ" button
RIP-Audio > a lil script i use for extracting audio from various files without converting (VERY fast)
VMuTube-HD > for those who want to make videos with MOTION for youtube and have "HD" button
VMuTube-HQ > same as VMuTube-HD, but for the "HQ" button

if the video gets stuck on "Processing..." after uploading, resize your picture in photoshop/paint/etc and try again

NOTE: plz resize your pictures to 1280x720 before throwing it at the script.
NOTE: you HAVE to have AviSynth installed on your computer for my scripts to work. get it at http://avisynth.org
NOTE: VMuTube scripts are there for compressing the video, like when you make your video in Sony Vegas and then export to uncompressed format and then use VMuTube to compress with as little quality loss as possible. as a rule of thumb, upload your videos UNMODIFIED to youtube for best results so use VMuTube if you actually need to.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

KNOWN BUGS:

if you get an error similar the one below, install MKVToolnix (LINK, install the latest version):

no, it will get up-sized to 1280x720 (IMG:http://tranceluvers.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
youtube wont give HD links unless its 1280x720 or bigger.

I think this might be why I'm having a Processing problem tbh, everything worked fine before I started using this so I'm guessing youtube doesn't really like mp4's.

funny thing is that youtube themselves recommend uploading in H264/AAC format which is what MP4 is all about... lol

well, right now i'm doing a lot of testing and it seems that some videos made by imutube go through and some dont... all depending on what picture i use! so, first thing is clear is that source audio is out of the equation. now i'm off to figure out why the heck some pix go through and some dont...

I have been trying to upload a mix recently and it's not going up.
I tried all web browsers different pictures but nothing worked.
Youtube sucks soo much (IMG:http://tranceluvers.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/angry.gif)
Anyone have another idea of how to upload? I might try Vegas as how I used to upload in HD but that takes near an hour to process. (IMG:http://tranceluvers.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
I think i'm gonna give up soon. {The video is my entry for the TranceLuver Megamix Contest Winter Frost 2009)

youtube is unpredictable as usual... well, for right now if the video doesnt go live, resize to some other resolution (like 1024x576, or similar) and try again. though again, not all videos encoded from resized pix go live, in my tests 70% went live after 5 minutes and the other didnt go live at all...
